As a SAFS team, like the rest of the school, we have created our own Padlet page.  This online page contains many useful links to websites and activities that will support your child’s and family needs.  We shall be updating the Padlet each week with new websites, activities and helpful hints.

Recent correspondence: (Letter sent 17th April)

Dear Parents/Carers,

We hope that you are keeping safe and well and that you have been enjoying this sunny weather.

My Plans
Your child’s My Plan Spring Targets have now been reviewed by their class teacher.

We would usually issue new targets for the Summer Term alongside this review but due to these unprecedented times, as a school, we have decided not to send new targets for the time being.  Within the remote learning packs, and with any future work that will be sent, your child’s work will have been carefully differentiated to accommodate your child’s learning needs.

As a Student and Family Support Team we would like to take this opportunity to review the My Plan format and to consider how we can increase parental involvement in the planning and reviewing of the plans and targets.  For us to do this, we would appreciate it if you would take part in a short survey.  This will give us an insight into what changes we can make to improve your input into your child’s plan.

In line with our Ethical Protocol, all surveys will be completely anonymous.  Please read the Ethical Protocol below prior to undertaking the survey.

Please use the link below to take part in the My Plan Survey

Once the survey is complete, we shall keep you updated with any changes and will invite you to give feedback on these changes.

Kind regards

Jess Trim, Liane Childs and Karen Canniford
