Year 6 Football Tournament  

Huge congratulations to our Year 6 team who were undefeated during the whole tournament, which sends them through to the next round of the Exeter City Kid’s Cup- well done! 

Reception Bikeability 

Reception enjoyed taking part in balance bike ability last week, they learned to balance and coordinate around cones and the playground. 

Gymnastics Workshop 

On Tuesday 15th October, Year 3 walked in the rain to Honiton Community College to take part in a gymnastics workshop run by some of the older students. Many new skills were learnt and lots of fun was had by all! 

Key stage 2 Honiton Learning Community Games 

A huge well done to our KS2 children who finished in a brilliant 2nd place today, against some very tough competition! We had some outstanding individual results and more importantly, all the children showed excellent games values and really supported each other in every even competition.  

⚽️ Year 5 Football ⚽️
Some of our Year 5s really enjoyed their ‘football friendly’ against Beer Primary School. Great skills and sportsmanship demonstrated by all! Thank you to Mr Bilcock for reffing and Mrs Lambert for organising this for us.
Cricket Taster Session
All children in Reception-Year 3 really enjoyed their taster session with Damian from Devon Cricket on the 20th February. Perhaps they will enjoy the ‘All Stars’ cricket programme at Honiton Cricket Club this year?

Year 5/6 Girls football
16 girls from Year 5 and 6 had a wonderful time with Mr Bilcock and Mrs Small at the HCC cluster event on the 9th February. All players showed great teamwork and passion and our Year 6 team ended in 1st place and our Year 5 team in 3rd position.Well done girls!
Stockland Cross Country
A massive well done to all children who took part in a very muddy Stockland race on the 7th February! Two children finished carrying their shoes! Many thanks to Mrs Clarke who trains the children and accompanies them at the races.
We had some great results; starting from position 7th in the year 5/6 race for both the girls and boys! All the children showed determination, self belief and respect for each other.
Key Stage 2 Futsal
The boys had a great morning competing against 8 teams from  other schools in the futsal tournament at HCC. They all demonstrated great behaviour and spirit! Special mention to Rowan for scoring 7 goals in the tournament! Great work boys.
Many thanks to Honiton Bowling Club for giving 16 more children the opportunity to try out bowling. They had a brilliant time and we look forward to more sessions next academic year.

Stockland Cross Country
A selection of Key Stage 2 children participated in the first round of the Stockland Cross Country event in October.
