Teaching Assistant/Pastoral Support - Littletown Primary Academy

Salary details:  £8.90 - £9.68 per hour

Hours:  23.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum

We are looking for someone to support Literacy lessons across our Year 4 classes each morning, to offer pastoral support at lunchtimes across KS2 and to liaise with children, parents and staff following the lunchtime break. The successful applicant will have excellent subject knowledge, be skillful in behaviour management and pastoral support and be a very effective communicator.

To work under the instruction guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.  Work may be carried out in the classroom or may regularly take place outside the main teaching area.

You will:
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of safeguarding and welfare procedures
- Be energetic, proactive, self-motivated and have attention to detail
- Possess the ability to speak clear English.
