Year 6

On Monday 9th January, selected Year 5/6 scientists attended a workshop at Honiton Community College. They learnt about which variables help to increase the speed of reaction when dissolving fizzy tablets!
In Year 6 we have been learning about World War II. We have designed, made and decorated Anderson shelters, complete with vegetable gardens and sandbags. The shelters were tested to see if they could withstand the weight of a 500g bomb dropped from 1m height. All were successful but some now have a little bomb damage!
